Essential Functions

  • Draft the Mayor’s daily and weekly briefing book to be distributed to the Mayor’s Office 
  • Review the public online scheduling form submissions and organize for weekly review 
  • Communicate with all event and meeting requestors to obtain additional information using the internal event request and confirmation forms 
  • Prepare a draft weekly briefing book and daily briefing books  
  • Complete research assignments as necessary 

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking as well as attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

The role of the Business Services Manager is to support and provide customer friendly service to businesses that operate within the City of Philadelphia.
