In honor of National Asian American,Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month, the National Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (National ACE) is hosting the National AANHPI Business Summit. The event will take place on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM ET at the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, DC.
The event aims to bring together AANHPI small business owners, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, and corporate leaders to discuss access to capital, plugging small business owners into resources for growth, and the opportunities in the shifting and growing technology landscape.
The Summit will feature plenary sessions and two panels focusing on various aspects of AANHPI small businesses. The Equity in the CHIPS and Science Act session will discuss the opportunities created by the CHIPS Act and how this legislation can fill structural gaps and foster equity. The Investing in AANHPI Businesses session will bring together financial institutions and corporate leaders to discuss the various investments, commitments, and strategies they have undertaken to support and uplift AANHPI small businesses and communities.
The Staying Competitive in a Digital World panel will focus on the importance of AANHPI small businesses’ incorporation into the digital economy to remain competitive and access capital and resources necessary for growth.
The National AANHPI Business Summit provides a platform for AANHPI entrepreneurs to learn about the latest trends and opportunities in the business landscape. It will offer attendees the chance to network, engage with industry leaders, and explore new strategies to start, retain, and grow their businesses.
