Trump to Hold Rally in Harrisburg Next Week
Former President Donald Trump will return to Pennsylvania next week for the first time since surviving an assassination attempt in Butler. Trump will hold an indoor rally at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg on Wednesday, July 31 evening. Doors open at 2 p.m., and Trump is set to speak at 6 p.m.
The Harrisburg rally comes three weeks after a gunman attacked Trump’s outdoor campaign rally in Butler, where Trump was grazed by a bullet, and a former fire chief was killed. Following the incident, the Secret Service recommended moving rallies indoors for security.
This event marks Trump’s first visit to Pennsylvania since President Joe Biden withdrew from the presidential race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.
Allyson Bayless, Pennsylvania spokesperson for Harris for President, stated that Pennsylvania voters are “fired up to defeat” Trump and criticized his Project 2025 agenda for threatening fundamental freedoms.
